“Biomimicry” (meaning to imitate life) is a new discipline that studies nature’s best ideas and then imitates these designs and processes to solve human design and engineering problems. Animals, plants, and microbes are the best engineers of sustainable life. They have discovered what works through natural selection and what lasts here on Earth. After 3.8 billion years of research and development, the conscious emulation of life’s genius is a survival strategy for the human race, a path to a sustainable future.
As a Biomimicry Specialist, Janus lectures, teaches workshops, classes, and designs to ensure greater bio-diversity in nature and tap into nature’s wisdom to innovate sustainable design solutions.
